Razer Kraken Pro Jack Plug Repair

Jack plug repair for the Razer Kraken Pro V1 is a simple, and requires a hobbyist with some soldering skills. These set of notes might help anyone planning to repair theirs when it is out of warranty. These notes are for the Pro version V1 and not the Razer Kraken Pro V2 that came after, as I have not had one of those for repair yet.

Whilst repairing mine, I noticed that the 4-pole jack pinout follows the newer standard that manufacturers are using, where the insulated white wire is the microphone connection to the sleeve. The copper-coloured one connects to the ground ring 2, blue is the left audio to tip, and red is the right audio to ring 1.
