Razer Kraken USB Cable Replacement

Replacing the USB cable is fairly straightforward in these headphones and in this article you can see the wiring colour code and how it maps from the USB plug to the main circuit board. As you can see, there are four insulated wires (red, white, green, black) that connect to the pins in the USB plug. There is also an additional outer braided shield, which is the slightly thicker wire with a black sleeve. To save time and money, I bought a ready-made USB extension wire at the auction site and simply cut off the socket part at one end and soldered the relavent wires to the circuit board.
