Razer Kraken USB Microphone Disassembly
The Razer Kraken USB has an electret condenser microphone at the end of a flexible boom supported by a hinge mechanism in the cup. The analogue signal from the microphone goes into the main IC HS-100B and then to its internal analogue to digital converter (ADC). In this design, there is no physical mute switch and instead one has to use software controls for this function.
