Philips SHP2500 Disassembly

It is very simple to disassemble the Philips SHP2500 for cleaning purposes. I recently bought these pre-used and decided to take them apart for cleaning and disinfecting. I desoldered the drivers and cleaned the plastic cups and headband under water.

The back of the cups have these slits, which must have some impact on the sound and bass reproduction.

The front panel has this strange angle so that the sound injects into the ears correctly.

There is this small window to allow sound from the back to get to the front.
