Sony WM-EX674 Back

The Sony WM-EX674 has a metal back, with a small window, which shows the tape spools. It is a useful inspection window for checking if the tape is moving. This side is prone to damage through scratches; however, you can get a lovely leather case to protect your player and keep it in good condition.

Battery Compartment

This battery compartment houses the NC-6WM rechargeable battery. People usually forget to remove the battery from here, and just recently I bought one of these on eBay and it had the original battery in it, which was still in good condition. In this photograph, you can see the thickness of the metal case.
