The Computer Logic Lab has an extremely simple and elegant design of the front panel. On the front panel, you have a cluster of resistors, capacitors, and switches. In addition, the quad NAND IC is one those versatile chips, because there are many useful circuits one can make with a NAND gate. Although it is not obvious for a ten-year-old, a NAND gate is one of the major building blocks in digital electronics.
