Sony Clie PEG-T625C Battery Replacement

The Sony Clie PEG-T625C requires the UP523048 battery for replacement. In order to gain access to the original battery one has to open the device, which is simple as there are obvious-looking screws along the case edges. The system board also requires removal because the battery is under it, but luckily, they use ribbon cables and sockets, so it is easy to remove that as well. The battery wires have a plug, and therefore there is no soldering involved.
