Sony BP-700 & Power

The Sony WM-BF22 Walkman accepts the Sony BP-700 battery pack, or a pair of AA size dry cells, or a mains adapter providing 3 V DC.

Battery Hatch

These are just a cheap pair of rechargeable batteries from the local thrift store, and they seem to work fine.

DC Socket

This player has a socket so that an external mains adapter may power it. An adapter that provides three volts DC with the centre pin as negative is required.

Configuration

As shown on the case, this socket is negative on the centre pin.
