Denon AVR-1610 No Sound

Providing the Denon AVR-1610 receiver amplifier is not in standby or protect mode, and there is no sound produced, then please check the following.
- Check connection of the input device
- Check connection of the speakers
- Make sure you select the correct input source
- Is the master volume control set too low?
- Is the mute mode ON?
- Are headphones connected?
- Are the digital signals compatible?
- Does the assignment of the connectors and input modes match?
No DTS Sound
- If there is no DTS sound, then check whether the DVD players audio output setting is configured to bitstream mode.
- Check if the amplifiers decode mode is set to PCM
