Sony MDR-V150 Replacement Jack Plug

Jack Plug

Occasionally the MDR-V150 jack plug may require replacing if your headphones are not working properly. If you are experiencing one channel dropping out intermittently as you wiggle the wire at the jack plug end, then chances are the plug requires replacing. You will need a new stereo jack plug that is 3.5 mm in size, and these are readily and cheaply available at auction sites. An electrical engineer usually snips the faulty plug off and solders a new one. There are usually three wires to solder; left channel, right, channel, and a common ground.
