Sony MDR-V150 Replacing Ear Pads
Replacing the Sony MDR-V150 ear pads is very simple and requires a Philips head screwdriver. The basic principle is that the front plastic panel comes off by unscrewing two screws so you can install the pads. The screws are usually under the pads and one simply has to push the edges slightly over for the screwdriver to gain access. The following set of photographs may help with assembly and disassembly.

The screw to secure the front panel usually hides under the pad. There are two of these screws, and it helps if you noted where their holes were, because you will need to push the edges over to see them. Replacement ear-pads, also known as cushions, are readily and cheaply available online and on auction sites. I managed to get a pair for a couple of pounds and they came all the way from China.
