Disabling the MS-132BT Flashing Multi-coloured LED
The MS-132BT random flashing LED light is very bright, and if you have this speaker near your bed at night, then it can be extremely distracting. I bought the MS-132BT to listen to Paul McKenna, and Anthony Robbins development programmes that I converted to MP3 as the tapes were starting to wear out. Even with eyes closed, one can still get a sense of light movement that can prevent one from sleeping or relaxing, hence after just one night; I decided that the LED had to be disconnected. Luckily, it has a plug/socket connection, and I simply pulled the plug out, thereby disconnecting it from the PCB. After this mod, I had it just right for my needs.
Bah Humbug!
Being a typical Brit, I am a miserable git, and all these flashing multi-coloured bright lights are excessively joyous for my liking, and in addition they use power. Unemployment, recession, inflation, cancer, and tax, are the only things we have to look forward to these days. Since I know I shall never need it, I decided to remove the LED and wire completely. However, this is a personal choice, and youngsters full of youth and optimism might actually like the flashing lights.
