Sanyo M4440 Parting Shots

Here are some parting shots of the Sanyo M4440 that you might find interesting. I took it apart for cleaning and servicing, and now it is extremely clean and working perfectly as when new from the factory. These units usually come with a box and a pair of headphones; however, I was not able to get them on eBay. Perhaps in the future, if I can find them, then I shall show photographs of that as well.

Inside the cassette compartment, the brushed aluminium plate is stuck to the case with glue.

Underside

The battery terminals arrange in such a way so that all the batteries install in the same direction, which is very useful. This shows the underside of the top half of the case after removing the metal chassis and PCB. The case fabrication is plastic; consequently, it looks smart even with worn corners and light scratches.

PCB

To replace the drive belt the PCB requires removal, which requires desoldering some of the wires.
