Sanyo M4440 Carrying Case

This Sanyo M4440 stereo cassette player comes with many extras, including a carrying case, and a pair of headphones. I managed to get this player with a cover, which is a smart double-breasted jacket. Sanyo calls it a "carrying case" to protect it from scratches. It does a great job of that which is one of the reasons why this unit has survived all these years.

The material is silver coloured plastic with a blue felt lining and pop rivets. Silver gave it a high tech look and was the "in" colour during the time when NASA space exploration was making headline news.

The controls are not fully protected, however this cassette player is robust, and they generally remain intact. It is common to find one with scratches around the microphone.

Belt Loop

This is the belt loop to carry the cassette player with you.

Markings

There are some stamp markings on the carry case.
