Sony WM-FX290 Battery

The Sony WM-FX290 Walkman requires one AA size LR6 battery, which can provide up to a maximum of 35 hours of tape playback time, and 40 hours in radio mode. A battery hatch on the side of the player allows loading of the battery. If you use a generic AA size battery, then you will get approximately 9 hours of playback time, and 14 hours of radio use.
