Toshiba KT-4046 Radio Design

For the KT-4046 radio reception, the designers are using the TA7787F, and TA7358 integrated circuits (IC) manufactured by the Toshiba Corporation of Japan. They provide the best reception quality, and offer the lowest power consumption suitable for portable devices. These ICs are usually used in Walkman type portable devices, including Sanyo and Sony products.

The TA7358 is the FM front end IC to the TA7787F. The TA7787F is the AM/FM IF system providing lower heterodyne functionality.
