Nakamichi AV-10 Test Stage

A very good test stage I discovered for the Nakamichi AV-10 is when you have the amplifier assembled without the audio power output boards. In this case, without the heatsink assembly and the boards attached to it. With the amplifier switched ON, I was able to hear the FM radio through the headphone socket, because the headphone output has a dedicated separate amplifier. Hence, I was able to test all of the subsystems without the power amplifier boards. This is useful to know, because if one had an amplifier that was tripping because of a short in the audio power output PCBs, then it is possible to test the remaining subsystems to eliminate any other possibilities.
