Nakamichi AV-10 VR PCB

The Nakamichi AV-10 VR board is a critical part of the amplifier design because the audio signals for all the channels pass through this board. This board has multi-ganged variable resistors for setting the volume level of all the channels. A good feature of this amplifier is that the signal remains in its analogue form throughout all the stages, whilst modern amplifiers such as Sony began using signal processors, which eliminated the need for expensive mechanical potentiometers.
