National Panasonic T-100D Battery and Power Supply
The National Panasonic T-100D operates on 9 V and therefore requires six "D" size dry cells to operate. This radio does not have a built-in mains transformer or even a socket to feed power through an adapter. Due to the powering scheme, majority of radios have corroded battery terminal springs.
After seeing some archive pictures, I noticed that there were slight variations of this model, with some having an aerial and a power socket. I was tempted to install a jack socket for supplying power through it, but decided to keep it in its original state. The Matsushita Corporation would have made many versions of this radio, where each variation would have been for greater performance and cheaper construction.
