National Panasonic T-100D Loudspeakers

The National Panasonic T-100D has a twin speaker system, which was a long-standing feature that many of their earliest radios had. Both speakers are open magnet type and connected in parallel. The 12 cm speaker provides the bass, whilst the smaller 9 cm speaker provides the treble. A good quality output system makes a huge difference to the enjoyment of this radio, and with Panasonic, quality always comes first.

The 12 cm speaker also has the output transformer attached to it because it is very large and would not have fitted on the printed circuit board.
