Behringer HPS5000 Ear pads

Ear Pads

The Behringer HPS5000 headphones have one of the nicest designs when it comes to replacing the ear-pads. As you can see, the cups have a ridge along the edge, and the ear-pad seam simply stretches over it. Unfortunately, they also use an inner liner that attaches to the front panel with double-sided tape, and that can be messy to remove and replace. On my pre-used ones, it took me ages to remove the messy glue.

I looked for a kit that would contains the ear-pads, inner liners, and headband foam strip but simple got the run-around, so after three hops, I decided to see if I could find something generic and managed to find a generic kit for a couple of pounds on the auction site. It came all the way from China and took a few weeks.

However, for temporary use, I took the ear pads from my Sennheiser Headphones as they too have oval shaped cups of similar size.

Generic Ear pads

I managed to find a complete generic replacement kit consisting of the ear pads and the headband pad, for a couple of pounds on the auction site. It was extremely good value, and it arrived very fast.
