AVO 8 Back Cover

The meter consists of two halves. The moulded front panel fixes to the chassis, whilst the back panel provides cover to the sides and back. The two halves of the case join providing a tight seal.

Spring Clips

The back case comes off neatly, and there are no messy connecting wires. Metal spring clips are used which make contact with metal posts on the circuit board.

This shows the spring clips, and the famous "panclimatic" high voltage resistors.
