Panasonic RX-1950 Battery Compartment
The Panasonic RX-1950 battery compartment is at the back. There is a neat little hatch, which slides open to reveal four AA size batteries. With high capacity rechargeable batteries, you can get many hours of operation time with this personal stereo recorder. As you can see on this player, even the back cover is well designed and engineered. Panasonic are one of those corporations that always create quality products worth buying.
The Back Cover
The back cover has a 6 V DC socket for powering the unit from a mains adapter. I do not think I have ever seen the adapter or the manual for it, however, if you happen to have one then please do feel free to scan it for me and email it in. The back cover also has a small telescopic aerial, which I do not think I have ever used, because the radio reception has always been very good.
