G. I. Joe Walkie Talkie Handset Inside View

This G. I. Joe Walkie Talkie has a phone-style handset with a microphone and loudspeaker. This handset has a four-transistor circuit, which configures as either a receiver or transmitter depending upon the position of the Push-to-Talk (PTT) switch. Interestingly, the field unit has a smaller handset with only a loudspeaker, which behaves as a microphone as well.
