Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 Manual

A great product is always intuitive to use and consequently has a small manual. I was thankful to find that the GT-i9205 User Manual was a small paper booklet. As soon as I found it in the box, I put it to one side and forgot about it as I am one of those people who like to find things out on my own.

I was able to install the SIM card, battery, and the Micro SD memory card without having to look in the manual. I was also able to construct the travel adapter without any effort. It is all very intuitive, but then again, I am no average brain. If you are brain-cell challenged then there is always the manual to help you out.

The Earpiece

The ear end of the phone showing where to place the ear.

Being old fashioned, I still call this the earpiece. This is the end you listen to when making a call.

Micro USB Charging Port

This is the charging port. Be very careful how you install the Micro USB B plug into it. Pay special attention to the USB logo on the plug. Many people force the plug into the socket, the wrong way round, and break the internal electrical pins.

If you break the socket, then the guarantee does not cover it. You will have to pay for the repairs, so be very careful when using this.

The Power Button

This is the power button. One short press ought to switch the phone on. The first thing you should see is the Samsung logo.

Volume Control

On this side is the volume control.

Hands-free Headset: Earphone Socket

The socket for plugging in your hands-free kit headphones is at this end. Once you plug this in, the onboard earphone and microphone are disabled and all input / output is through the headset.

The Mouthpiece

This is the microphone end of the phone, and you talk into it.

The Touch Screen

Gently tap on the screen icons to operate. To make a call, tap once on the green icon labelled Phone.
