Sony WM-FX251 inside View
Inside the Sony WM-FX251, we see the TA8122AF radio integrated circuit (IC), and the LB1979 motor controller IC. This is a double-sided printed circuit board (PCB), and the remaining components are on the reverse side. In order to change the drive belt one has to remove the screw at the top right corner of the PCB, and release the plastic locking tabs, and audio head ribbon cable. The PCB can then move to one side giving access to the drive belt. It is not necessary to remove the wires for the motor, however if you manage to break any whilst moving the PCB, then the photograph shows where they solder again.
