Onikuma Model K5 In-Line Remote Control

The ONIKUMA Model K5 has a simple in-line remote control consisting of a circuit board with a potentiometer (VR1) for adjusting the volume level, and a slide switch to disable the microphone.

As you can see, the microphone signal wire connects through the slide switch. If your microphone is not working, and the switch is in the ON position, then it is possible to do some diagnostics checking the switch and wire for continuity.
