Onikuma Model K5 Boom Microphone

The ONIKUMA Model K5 is essentially a stereo headset with boom microphone. These types of microphones provide the best voice audio as they are positioned directly over the mouth.

As you can see, there is this condenser type microphone on a small PCB. The other side of the PCB has a SMD LED and voltage drop resistor.

In this design, there is a screw inside the ear cup which secures the boom hinge. If you find your microphone drooping, then tightening this screw usually helps.
