Roboraptor Audio Sensitivity Hack

Main Board

Whilst researching the electronic design of the Roboraptor, I discovered that the main board has a pair of presets that control the audio sensitivity level. Since my unit had a hearing deficiency, I experimented with different settings, and found that with the presets to maximum sensitivity, the robot appeared more responsive. I also went a step further and installed larger and more sensitive condenser microphones. Now he registers even the smallest of sounds, which makes him appear a little more intelligent.

Presets

This was the factory setting. I turned both (VR1 and VR2) fully clockwise to increase the sensitivity to maximum.
