Roboraptor Main PCB Component Side

Main Circuit Board

The Roboraptor uses the MD6750G microcontroller, which has sufficient processing power for simple functions. I spent some time researching its circuit, by injecting 3 V at the base junction of the transistors to see if I could actuate any of its motor functions. I was thinking of adding a secondary overlay circuit so I could add more functions. It then occurred to me that with sensitive hearing, it would be a very good guard robot. It could stand guard during the night and if he heard any noises, he would activate an auto dial function on a Smartphone to let me know. I also had a small recording spy camera that I had bought, and decided to install that as well, so when he heard any noise, he would start recording audio and video.
