Psion Series 5 Compact Flash Card Slot

The Psion Series 5 has 50-pin Compact Flash (CF) card slot for memory expansion purposes. At the time of introduction, memory card sizes available were 2-MB, 4-MB, and 10-MB, and the manufacturers always hoped that as the storage capacity increased, the unit would be able to use them. These cards were ultra-small removable data storage systems with complete PCMCIA ATA functionality and compatibility using Type II adapters.
