SideWinder Force Feedback Pro Motors

The Force Feedback motors are located close to where the fan grill would be. As you can see, there is just enough space to fit a very thin profile fan. I particularly like the robustness of the motors and the mechanism because the weight also helps the joystick sit better on a flat surface. It feels much more realistic when the joystick is heavy, whereas modern designs have become lighter, and manufacturers usually use suction cups on the base to make it stick to a flat surface.
