SideWinder Force Feedback Pro Hi-Hat Buttons and PCB

The tip of the joystick contains a group of switches mounted on a small circuit board. On this page, you can see the design technology of the hat switch they employed in the SideWinder Force Feedback Pro.

On my (pre-used) unit, one of the SMD switches remained pressed in and no longer made a click sound, hence I used modern replacements, and now there is a wonderful sharp click feel when pressing them. The switches shown in the photo above are the original ones.
