Sanyo MGR59 Battery Compartment

At the back, the Sanyo MGR59 has a plastic belt-clip, and a very thin plastic lid for the battery compartment.

This player requires three AA size batteries, because the radio circuitry consists of three ICs, which require at least 4.5 V to operate.

This player also has a socket to receive power from a mains adapter. An adapter, which produces 4.5 V DC, is required.
