Sanyo MGR 80 inside Look

Looking inside the Sanyo MGR 80, we see a metal chassis and pushbutton mechanism. It has brass flywheels, and the printed circuit board is densely packed. The audio integrated circuits (IC) appear to be on this side, whilst the radio ICs are on the component side. There is a long ribbon cable, which connects the graphic equaliser board in the cassette compartment lid to this main board. This certainly appears to be a high-end design.
