Sanyo MGR 80 Motor Driver IC

The MGR 80 has an advanced motor drive system consisting of a servo integrated circuit (IC) and DC motor. The IC provides power management and speed regulation for the DC motor. The motor design is also unique, as you can see; it is much flatter with a larger diameter. There appears to be copper shielding around it to prevent electromagnetic noise radiating to the amplifier circuits.
