Kenwood KR-V6060 2SB1470 and 2SD2222 Complementary Power Transistors

The front channels of this amplifier use the 2SB1470 and 2SD2222 complementary pair of audio power transistors manufactured by the Panasonic Corporation of Japan. They are typically used in Class AB symmetrical audio output stage of an amplifier, and they provide an optimum 120-watts power output. Each transistor contains a Darlington pair within a single TOP-3L-A1 package, providing a minimum forward current transfer ratio of 3500. These transistors provide a very powerful natural amplification as their transition frequency is typically 20 MHz. A Bass guitar would sound great hooked to one of these amplifiers.
