bigtrak Facelift Modification

With a red top-half, white bottom-half, and blue laser lights; I have all the colours of the flag. I must remember to program this toy with the tune to the British National Anthem.

Ask any boy what colour he wants it and the answer will be red. Hence, I decided to use this colour. However, if you are of the female persuasion, then pink looks fine as well. Fluorescent pink would look amazing.

I am very impressed with the glossy finish. The secret is to spray very thin coats every one hour apart. All of my painting skills came from Tony Heart of course.

We do not cut corners here. I painted the inside surfaces as well. It is all nice and tidy looking now.

I decided to fix this top secret, state of the art, military, high performance vehicle, with parts from a torch bought in a dollar mart shop... :-)

If you have lost the hatch, you can always get one of these push lights, from the pound store, which is almost the same size and doubles as a light as well.

I spray painted the hatch silver colour. It looks nicer now

I happened to have a screen protector for a phone that I was no longer using. I decided to use it to protect this keypad. I installed the protector first, and then the keypad bezel above it which secures it.

As you can see, the keypad bezel has been spray-painted as well.

I have to say that this was the most enjoyable mod I ever did. I must do some more toy articles soon. As soon as I find daddy Warbucks to give me some money for toys...
