Sharp CE-152 inside Look

Inside the Sharp CE-152 tape recorder you can see the 80s style electronics and engineering which all vintage audio experts love to see. There was an aluminium-backed card covering the PCB that I removed to reveal a metal chassis, and a nice printed circuit board.

Loudspeaker

The audio output is through this 0.5-watt miniature speaker, which is very loud. It sounds decent for the size.

Drive Belt

This tape recorder has two drive belts, and the capstan flywheel is made of metal. It is in a very good condition for its age.
