Sharp CE-152 PCB

The Sharp CE-152 Printed Circuit Board (PCB) construction includes conventional components, as one would expect from a vintage piece of electronic engineering. As you can see, even with an IC, the circuit still requires a huge number of components. This circuit would have been part assembled by machine, whilst the wires soldered by manual labour. It is a very typical construction of that era.

The PCB artwork and etching appear to be of high standard, and there is even a green solder mask. The traces are thick copper, which have lasted all this time.
